Artist visit - Zoe Redman Workshops March 2012

Art and Sustainability Workshops in the Community

During the month of March we ran a series of workshops with our artist Zoe Redman to engage the groups of young women and school children on the topic of  art and biodiversity.

Daijokyi girls sewing centre was first port of call - we talked about reducing use of plastic and the importance of design and effects on the biodiversity.

The girls listened and then asked questions on the topics followed by drawing and designing sessions on product ideas.

At Budh Vihar school there were 120 children present and participating in the environmental education talk followed by celebration of their local biodiversity through drawing and painting session with Zoe.
