Permaculture Design Course 25th March- 8th April 2012

This is the place that probably needs it most with its dry arid levitra online and deforested setting.

The participants were from international and local backgrounds, made it a melding pot of exciting and meaningful exchanges and sharing of cultural experiences and climatic exposures brought to the table for solution finding.

During the course of the 14 days, a huge download was given by Rico on a wide range of topics. They ranged from compost, land regeneration, rain water harvesting systems, renewable energy systems, dry toilet design and grey water, black water systems.  Basically how to work with the local biodiversity in best way and to design accordingly to local needs for development. Issues of food security and methods to address these were discussed. in between the theoretical sessions there were hands-on sessions to make working and learning in the heat more bearable. april in Bodhgaya is reaching the 40 C and most do not try to do too much and most facilities are lessened and only open during the cooler parts of the day. The second part of the course was to split into groups to design the 3 main locations for local projects. One was a recycling centre, another area was to grow food for ashram and produce enough from a diverse plantation to bring income, the third location was in an area of guest houses and to work with them for developing the systems and aesthetics with greenery with plantation for reducing the pollution.
